 Tinubu Returns to Nigeria After Co-Chairing Nigeria-South Africa BNC Session

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after attending the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) in South Africa, where he co-chaired the event alongside President Cyril Ramaphosa.

According to the report, President Tinubu arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:10 PM, where he was received by Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

Also present to receive him were APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and the Commissioner of Police FCT, Peter Opara.

The 11th BNC session involved discussions across eight working groups, covering areas such as political consultations, consular and migration issues, banking and finance, defense and security, manufacturing, the social sector, mines and energy, and trade and investments.

During the high-level meeting, both countries signed several memoranda of understanding and agreements. 

The Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission, established in 1999, aims to boost the ties of friendship and partnership between the two nations.
